The course is led by a local artist with many years experience of working with people with learning difficulties. The course is person centred encouraging each of the participants to work at their own pace and develop their own ways of working. It acts as a safe first step into the Gallery and time is spent outside of the Studio exploring the building and collections.

This course provides an important bridge into community life for young people with learning difficulties who are about to enter the world of adult services and also for adults who are unable to access art activities. Once part of Pallant House Gallery's Community Programme there are further pathways of involvement.
