Pallant House Gallery has an excellent art history reference library that focuses on British and European 20th century art, design, architecture and theory but also covers key artists and movements from the wider history of art. The library includes over 15,000 publications: catalogues, monographs, histories, magazines, journals and, increasingly, other formats such as videos and CD-roms.
